ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(STOTFOLD: PART OF FOOTPATH NO 7)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Central Bedfordshire Council on the 5 September

2022 the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the length of Footpath No 7, Stotfold which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 2181 3775 south easterly to OS GR TL 2193 3767 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of

State for Transport until 5 September 2024

This temporary closure is required to enable construction works to be carried out. The closure is expected to continue from 5th March 2023 to 5th September 2024.

The alternative route for footpath users while the closure is in operation will be:

Aspen Gardens footway on the opposite side of the road.

The Order will continue in force until 5 September 2024 or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within eighteen months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.
