What is a Community Grant?

Stotfold Town Council provides community grants to support projects that make a positive difference locally.

You can apply if your project benefits residents and helps strengthen the community. This includes events, improvements to facilities, or new initiatives that bring people together.

Who can apply?

Your group should:

  • Be based in or clearly benefit the residents of Stotfold.

  • Have a clear purpose or project that aligns with community improvement or enrichment.

  • Be open to or benefit all members of the community.

  • Not be for individual profit-making or personal gain.

We accept applications from:

  • Registered charities

  • Community and voluntary groups

  • Sports Clubs

  • Schools

  • Other not-for-profit organisations

How to apply

Follow these steps:

  • Complete the application form - Use the online form or collect a paper copy from the office Stotfold Town Council - Grant Application Form – Fill out form

  • Provide supporting information  - Explain your project clearly, show how the funding will be used and set out how residents will benefit. 

  • Submit your application - send it online or deliver to the Council office. 

How applications are assessed

  • Applications are reviewed by the Governance and Resources Committee

  • Decisions follow the Grants Application Policy - 2025 

  • All applications are assessed fairly and consistently

Application Deadlines

The next round:

  • Opens 31 July 2026

  • Deadline: Monday 14 September 2026

  • Decision date: Wednesday 30 September 2026.
