Stotfold Snow Angels

Do you know any elderly or vulnerable people in your area who struggle to get around when the weather turns wintery?

Stotfold Snow Angels are volunteer residents who clear snow and ice from the footways and pathways in their local area. As a Snow Angel you will play a vital role in contributing to the safety of your community, especially in smaller residential roads and pedestrian routes.

Volunteers are allocated:

• 20kg bag of road salt
• hand spreader
• snow shovel
• high visibility vest.

These are to help our volunteers clear and treat a public highway route close to their home, helping to create safer routes for our local residents.

We recognise that you may not be able to clear and treat these sections on every occasion and you do not have to.

Your help is greatly appreciated when you do help your local community.this is perfect - we appreciate it might be warming slightly there's still a chance of sleet happening later this week hence the importance of thinking of vulnerable people.

Once we've received your expression of interest a member of staff will contact you and arrangements will be made to deliver equipment and salt.
