Keep Stotfold Safe During Power Cut

Keep Stotfold Safe During Power Cuts

Register Yourself or Someone You Care About Today

As some of know from early January, power cuts can happen at any time, and for some residents, they can be more than just an inconvenience. If you or someone you care about would struggle during a power outage, the Priority Services Register (PSR) is here to help.

The PSR is a free service offered by energy providers to ensure that vulnerable customers receive extra support when the lights go out. This includes people who are elderly, have health conditions, or rely on electricity for medical equipment. By registering, you can access benefits such as advanced notifications of planned outages, priority updates during emergencies, and tailored assistance when needed.

Importantly, you can also register on behalf of a family member, friend, or neighbour. This simple act could make a big difference to someone’s safety and comfort during a power cut.

Signing up is quick and easy. Visit your energy provider’s website or call their customer service team to add your details. If you’re unsure where to start, Stotfold Town Council can provide guidance.

Let’s work together to make sure no one in our community is left in the dark. If you know someone who could benefit, please encourage them to join the Priority Services Register today.
