Hiring the Greenacre Centre Council Chamber
Notes for guidance when hiring
The Chamber should be booked for the actual time that it is to be used. The Chamber will only be available for the stated time on the booking form.
The Hirer’s attention is also drawn to the fact that all functions must end no later than 12.00am. The hall must be completely cleared by 12.30am when the Greenacre Centre will be locked.
It should be observed that the accommodation is NOT LICENSED for the sale of alcohol. Hirers must make appropriate arrangements with a Licensee who will have to obtain from the Licensing Justices an Occasional License.
The full conditions for the letting of the Council Chamber are issued to hirers at the time of booking and hirers are required to adhere to them.
Arrangements for regular bookings may be made at a reduction in rates.
All hires will require a cheque, cash or card pre-authorisation for the sum of £250 for a damage deposit either by cheque, cash, bank transfer or pre-authorisation on credit/debit cards. Cheques and cash deposits can be collected from the Town Council office the first working day following your hire, providing there is no damage to the building. Card pre-authorisations will be deleted.
