Department of Work and Pensions launches new website
If you are affected by coronavirus or its effect on the economy, there is a wide range of support available.
The new website provides information about the changes the government has brought in to support people who are already claiming benefits, or need to claim benefits, or are at risk of losing their job as a result of coronavirus.
You can also find out about sick pay, universal credit, housing, furlough, changes to job centre appointments and much more.
AdviceCentral helps you find the information you need, assisted by an online chat.
It is staffed by trained assistants to assess and point you to most relevant advice agency.
Visit advicecentral.org.uk or call 0300 303 6666 for support.
A network of independent charities throughout the UK that give free, confidential information and advice to help people with issues like benefits, employment, debt, housing, relationships and lots more.
Contact your local office for online and telephone advice. The best time to speak to the Citizens Advice is as soon as possible, so that you can take a proactive look at how to deal with things like debt, before it starts to get worse.
