Grant Application Form and Guidance Notes
The Town Council invites local voluntary organisations to make application for grants that will directly benefit Stotfold, or part of it, or all or some of its inhabitants.  Applications from individuals will not be considered.  The annual amount for distribution will be allocated twice yearly - April and September.  The deadline for each round of grant consideration will be published on our website, Facebook page and Stotfold News article.

Event Risk Assessment
When organising an event to take place on one of our recreation grounds, for which you have received permission from the Town Council to do so, you will be asked to complete an Event Risk Assessment.  This must be completed and returned to the Council Office before the event takes place.

Residents Handbook - Update in process
This document is being continuously updated and was originally circulated to every household in the town.  We aim to provide a copy to every new dwelling built, but also have a downloadable copy available on this website, and a hard copy is available from the Council office.  It provides contact details for Town Councillors, Central Beds Councillors and MP, businesses, clubs and organisations, transport, education, health, and many others.

Christmas Lights Committee
In 2015, the Town Council was approached by a number of residents, with an online petition, asking the Council to provide Christmas Lights displays for the town.  Council considered a Resource Plan, detailing an initial project outline, plan of action and resources required.  December 2015 saw Stotfold's first town Christmas Lights display, which has grown and improved in the years since.  This has been down to generous donations from individuals and organisations, fundraising by a small Committee and assistance from Baldock Rotary Club.  Each year, the Committee considers its actual and likely budget available for the next display and any areas for display improvement.  This has now also included a popular Switch On event which takes place at the beginning of December, and is organised by the Town Council.  We are always looking for support and additional Committee members - if you are interested, please contact the Town Clerk on 01462 730064 or email enquiries@stotfoldtowncouncil.gov.uk
