NORTON ROAD ALLOTMENTS

The Town Council owns and manages the allotment site on Norton Road which has 43 plots, all are currently leased.
The site is situated off Norton Road and is accessed by a locked gate. Water standpipes are available for use by plot holders.
Charges for plots from September 2011 to September 2012 are: full plot £30, half plot £15.00
With the current trend in growing your own fruit and vegetables we have seen a considerable increase in names on the waiting list. If you would like to add your name to the list please contact Suzanne Cowie at the Town Council offices.
COMMON ROAD ALLOTMENTS
We are pleased to advise that the Common Road Allotments are now up and running. The site is owned by the Eleemosynary Charity of William Field, and the Town Council is managing the tenancies and site on their behalf. There are currently 80 half plots, and two full plots, and 5 plots of existing Charity tenants, who will now come under the new joint Town Council and Charity tenancy agreement. Three water points have been provided, and the site is pedestrian access only.
Charge for a half plot at the Common Road site is £15. All available plots are currently leased, but if you would like to add your name to the waiting list please contact Suzanne Cowie, as above.
